The 2021 ACS RACE WAS A CHALLENGING ONE. The weather was a major problem for many races during the Young Bird Season and on this race day, it had to be dropped from 300 to 200 miles and had slow speeds and late returns in both the Futurity and regular CJC Combine race.
The season, in general, had high losses for all fanciers. Other futurities had to adjust and experienced low entries due to lost birds prior to race day and we started with well over 100 qualified initial entries. We hope that next year will be better for all.
